Are you on the job market? Do you want to find more information about the companies and organizations that are out there? One of the best tools for organizational research is CareerSearch, www.grad.uiuc.edu/careerservices/careersearch.htm. This powerful database catalogs more than 4 million employers in the United States and can be searched by industry and geographic location. CareerSearch allows you to target your job search with information on a particular company, person, industry, or location. You can also search thousands of job listings and internships. CareerSearch allows you to tap into the hidden job market by providing company data so you can send out unsolicited resumes and cover letters.

The service is free, but you will need a client referral code to access the database. Call the Graduate College at 333-4610 to get the code.
