Both faculty and students have a unique role in the mentoring process. Thinking about the objectives and responsibilities of each can foster better communication and increase the effectiveness of the interaction. Students and faculty will meet separately to discuss the issues raised by the sketches and share their thoughts on how different approaches could influence the mentoring relationship.
